Now that Coronado Unified has started classes again it signals that time of year when a wave of people head back East with the idea of waiting until next year to "let the market cool off" and pick up a deal in Coronado next year. Although I see the logic, I have yet to see the recipe work. What you want this year will certainly cost (at least a little) more next year. So consider this the first basic lesson in the ongoing education of Coronado Real Estate.
I would be a fool to think that the market hasn't changed recently, especially in the lending arena, but the trend continues. There is the ever-present (increasing) demand for Coronado Real Estate and there is no way for the supply to keep pace. We are a town with a defined number of properties that can not rise and more and more people have the means and desire to be a part of it. Simple economics when you break it down. Couple that with the best public schools in the County and you can all see why I believe next year will always cost more than this year.
I would love to hear any thoughts. This is my first attempt to "blog" about any
thing, but if there is one thing I would like to blog about, it has to be Coronado Real Estate. This is meant to be a fun forum to kick around thoughts about Real Estate in Coronado. Join in if you like, I can't promise any kind of consistency in these posts, but whenever something comes up we will try to blog all about it!
